Slow Stitching Sunday
This is another start of a collage butterfly. I was interested in using more textural fabrics with this one. Gosh, I love texture. That is probably why I love working with textiles so much. It is so easy to create texture with fabric, threads and beads. Easy is good! I realize it looks like a real hodgepodge right now. I think it will all come together once I start adding the decorative stitches. I will enjoy embroidering it at the very least! I am happy to make the time for my stitching, especially at this time of year. The holidays are lovely but they are also a LOT. Thankfully, today will be a slow stitch sort of day!
