TAST french knots



I bet I have stitched a million french knots over my life time!  I feel that I am a pro at them.  I am not so sure that I am all that innovative with them though.  I used them to hold on the sequins in the bottom photo.  Truly that was out of the box for me as I usually use beads for that! giggles
The top two pictures I have used silk ribbon to make the french knots.  I can't claim that as an original idea as that is a kit I purchased and stitched.

    Love those knots around the window! Never used French knots to hold a sequin, great idea.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
