Fab finds


Check out the wonderful lace I found at the thrift store!  I can hardly believe I got all of this for $2.00  I am pretty sure it is all handmade!  How cool is that.  I can't wait to add some to my crazy quilts.  I am intrigued by the pink rick rack that has been incorporated into handmade lace.  What a neat idea!  I have never seen that before.

    Is it tatted or crocheted, do you know? I have a couple old books that show that idea. Great find!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
