Buttonholed Double Chain for Take a stitch Tuesday

What a nasty mess!  I probably shouldn't even post this.  I definitely struggled with this stitch.  I don't like it well enough to continue struggling with it.  I can't see myself using this one.  I am certainly glad that I didn't try it one of my crazy quilt blocks!

    Hi, Princess. I follow your blog & want you to know how very helpful your posts are. On Pintangle the demo of stitches all flow smoothly together & it looks like all I need to do is sit down with needle & thread. Your honest blogging through experience shows that it's not always such smooth waters. Thanks so much.

    As you noticed even Sharon said it was a difficult stitch. If she finds it hard it WILL be a challenge to the rest of us. I will just have to bite the bullet and give it a try.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
