Take a stitch Tuesday Chained cross stitch

So many stitches to learn.  I am always glad to learn new things.  It is good for the brain.  For me this stitch was easy to learn as it is combining two stitches I already know.  Of course, my stitching is not as nice and neat as Sharon's at http://pintangle.com/.  Nevertheless I am happy with it.  It is quite likely I will use this stitch again.

    It was the first time for me to use the Chained Cross Stitch, and I find it nice to both work and look at.
    It is quite striking worked in a straight line like you have. Let's use it again!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
