Bead journal project for March

This piece is needle felted with wool and organza.  I have tried out some new beaded embroidery stitches as well as just regular beading on this piece.  As for the beaded embroidery stitches I really enjoy them.  The problem I have with them is finding a needle that has a big enough eye to use embroidery thread but small enough to go through a bead.

    Angela, have you tried using dental floss threaders to put your beads onto your embroidery thread? It works really well. Email me if you need more info.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
