Work in Progress Wednesday

My landscape is progressing.  I have mostly worked on the lower third of the piece.  I added lace and bead, silk ribbon and bullion stitch.  I only have a vague idea as to what I want to do with with the rest of the piece. I am confident it will all come together though.

    The lace adds a lot of structure.

    I love landscapes! The green laces you added and the flowers are just darling. The block has changed so much. I cannot wait to see it when it is done!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
