Work in Progress Wednesday

This is my June CQ block.  I have a really good start on it.  I am hoping that means I can get it finished by the end of the month.  A feat I have not yet accomplished this year.  I have added a piece of shibori silk ribbon to the lower part.  It is something I have been seeing a lot on Pinterest lately.  I couldn't resist ordering some from  Flights of Fancy.  It is gorgeous but a little bit difficult to work with it.  Nevertheless I will persist and hopefully get it right.

    It is looking good already. Shibori silk LOOKS good but can at times be a challenge to work with. Enjoy!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
