What a mess! I should probably be embarrassed to show such a feeble attempt at Kikos Flower. I struggled with this one. The instructions that Sharon B posted at

I read them and decided I should have a nap! Not something I do very often but it is that kind of day. I came back to the instructions with fresher eyes but I still didn't get it. I searched for some other instructions but could not find any. I did find

I am not embarrassed to post my struggles with this stitch. It is helpful to know when others struggle with something. Plus I am not addicted to perfection. It is the learning process that I enjoy and I am glad that I persisted with it even though it isn't perfect.
The Bullion knot is hard to do on its own, I can imagine how much more difficult it must be when worked together with another stitch. Why not take a week's break and try them again. On the other hand frilled buttonhole is quite similar in looks and much easier to do, so why not use the 'substitute'?
ReplyDeleteI sometimes struggle with the instructions for the TAST stitches myself...quite often actually:) I haven't got to this one yet.
ReplyDeleteI read over the instructions and struggled with them too Angela. I have put this one on the back burner because I am just starting 2014 TAST and will be a while getting to this one. By then, there might be more help with it.
