Crazy quilt block for April finished

This is the fall themed block finished.  I am looking forward to putting all four blocks together.  I have some embroidered quilt blocks inherited from Aunt Pat and I am debating using them for the backing.  It is better than leaving them sitting in a drawer and I am really not sure what else to do with them.

    Good idea. You would then have a double-sided quilt.
    I like this Dresten Plate because you have used so many checked prints.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
