Work in Progress Wednesday

I painted this silk with Inktense blocks and pencils.  Inktense is wonderful.  It doesn't change the hand of the silk at all.  I have quilted this piece and now it just needs some hand stitching.  That's my favorite part.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
