Work in Progress Wednesday

My crazy quilt block for July is making progress.  Possibly I will get it done in the next couple of days but I am certainly not going to stress about it.  The center piece is made of paper which is pretty unusual, I know.  I don't know that I have ever seen someone use paper in a crazy quilt.  But why not!  I did back the paper with a fusible interfacing to make it more stable.  I love being creative!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
