Journal Week #36

'Travel as much as you can, as long as you can.  Life's not meant to be lived in one place.' is the quote this week.  I am pretty content to live in one place but I do really want to travel more.  We are in the midst of planning a trip to Fiji and New Zealand for next year.  A bucket list place for my husband.

    They say that travel broadens one's mind. Travel with open eyes and accept that things are different than your own little corner. I might be narrow minded but I am quite happy to be just an armchair traveller.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
