Take a Stitch Tuesday

Here is my beaded Lock Stitch.  A bit wobbly and looks nothing like Sharon's nice neat sample.  Her instruction can be found at http://pintangle.com/2016/09/20/tast-stitch-56/  I am glad I tried the stitch, it can only improve with practice.

    Sometimes beads distort the stitches and you might need very small beads. Then their holes are too narrow for the needle and indeed the thread - beaded stitches ARE difficult. Your work is charming and a great piece of cq!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
