Added Color

My leaf rubbings have been updated with some color.  I used Inktense pencils.  Oh man, do I love them!  I am much happier now that they have some vibrant color.  I am considering sewing them into a block and donating it.  Next year Canada will be 150 years old and a large quilt is being created to commemorate that.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
