Journal Week #4

See the light in others and treat them as if that is all that you see.  What a great idea!  I definitely try to do this but find it difficult to do with some people.  I printed this quote on top of a couple of layers.  The first layer was a gelli print.  The second layer was a print from a stencil.  I had used the stencil and there was still lots of juicy paint on it I stamped it onto the gelli print.

    Sorry but in this quote I question the word 'all'. Certainly we should try to see in others, the light (good, cheerfulness, honesty...) , but we must be aware of the dark (evil, depression, dishonesty...) If we see the dark too, we can help to prevent crimes, suicide and false accusations ...).

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
