Journal prompt #11

Next time you think of beautiful things, don't forget to count yourself.  Good quote!  Admittedly, it is a bit hard to read on the busy background.  Oh well.  I love the background!  I color copied one of my bead journals, also enlarged it.  Color copying is a great way to get two for one.
More and more I am learning to think of myself and my artwork as beautiful.  Adding beauty to this world is important to me.

You certainly have created yet another beautiful journal promt.
As for the quote, yes, we need to remember that there are two kinds of beauty - on the surface (flawless skin, white even teeth, buffed nails and good posture...) and inside (a winning smile, a warm heart and kind words...). The second is far more important to work on and appreciate. Even the most perfect eyes, oval shaped, jeweled clear, long lashed will not be beautiful if the look in them is icy cold, dull with disinterest or burning with hatred.
I will have to look hard on both my surface and inside to find real beauty, I will have to work on improving my posture and being more helpful.
