Last six inch square for the guild challenge

Our guild has really enjoyed working on these six-inch blocks (sinchies).  I took a mixed media approach to mine and have really had fun.  Tuesday the guild will meet to put together a display of all our pieces.  We plan to adhere them temporarily to a large piece of black fabric that will hang at the St. Jacob's Quilt and Fibre Festival.  I am pondering what I will do with mine once the display comes down.

  1. Thank you for explaining that mysterious expression. Your monotone embroidery is nice.

  2. I love what the stitching does to this design. Did you print the background design as well?
