Journal Week #26

You are never too old to learn something new.  Again, not a particularly inspiring quote to work with this week.  However, I do try to keep learning new things.  It is very good for the brain.  I made a color copy of a fabric experiment and then printed the quote on it.

    A true quote, but as you said, not new or thought provocative.
    Maybe that is what we have to learn! That old quotes need to be looked at again and questioned or confirmed.Great, I HAVE learned something today! Thank you, Angela!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
