Journal Prompt #37

This week the prompt was the sea.  The quote I used is by  Anne Morrough Linburg from her book Gift from the Sea.  The sea does not reward those who are too anxious, too greedy, or too impatient. One should lie empty, open, choiceless as a beach - waiting for a gift from the sea.  I love being near water.  It is so relaxing to me.  

 I completely enjoyed creating this page.  I am trying to look past the obvious problems with it and just accept it.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
