October Bead Journal

Not a lot of stitching done yet but it is a good start.  I wonder if I will be able to get it done by the end of the month.  I am done with rushing and will enjoy the stitching no matter how long it takes.    Silk has such a lovely sheen but it does make it difficult to get the colour right in photos.  This looks grey, in fact, it is a lovely sage green.

    I agree, silk needs to be seen 'in the flesh'. The beading design is very pretty.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
