Working small

It has been three weeks since we started our kitchen renovation.  There doesn't seem to be an end in sight.  When working larger I use my dining room table but right now it is covered in kitchen things.  I am forced to work smaller right now.  That's okay, I can get a bit ahead of the sinchie guild challenge.  December is the colour purple and these are the components that I have created for it.  I am not exactly sure how it will all come together.

    It is so hard to have work done to one's house, especially the most essential rooms like kitchen and bathroom. When it is complete you will be glad you had the work Doen.
    Working small is OK, isn't it? Now what can you do with butterflies and purple, a swarm of purple butterflies flocking around a flower in contrasting colour? Or ...?

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
