Mandala/kaleidoscope

Coffee filter mandala/kaleidoscopes have endless possibilities.  I haven't counted how many of these I have created but I bet in the hundreds.  Coffee filters are cheap and very durable.  They are obviously not indestructible but they will take some stitching.  Markers and paint are not a problem at all.  There are many ways to take them further but do I have to?  What if I make them just for the pleasure of making?  Period, end of the sentence.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
