Work in Progress Wednesday


 I have started a new mandala.  I have done the surface design.  This fabric started white and I have transformed it with a layer of transfer foil, then paint and another layer of transfer foil.  It is so hard to capture the beauty of the transfer foil.  You can see the shimmer of the foil on the piece behind the mandala.  Next, I will start stitching and beading into this.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
