Work in Progress


 Getting close to finished!  I am pretty happy with my Tigger dog.  Yes, I have been avoiding the face.  The face is such an important part.  I really don't want to mess it up.  I have been waiting for the right idea to come to me.  Maybe, I should go looking for the right idea.  Maybe, I just need some inspiration.  Maybe, some fluffy thread couched down.  Maybe, more beads.

    Looking very good.
    I agree, the face is a delicate area and it is important to get it right. Usually the face, even of long-haired dogs, is not that hairy. How about couching down some less fibrous yarn, or control wooly yarn by needle felting down the excess...

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
