I heart Photography


 This year has been uneventful to say the least.  There have been only a few art submissions and sadly most of them were declined.  It gets rather old not having my work accepted.  However, I am resilient and have a persistent devotion to my art and creativity.  Last week, I happily received the information that my above photo has been accepted to be displayed at Waterloo Park Promenade.  They will print it on a banner and hang it.  And they pay me!  It feels good.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
