Work in Progress Wednesday


 Last week I had wanted to get out my fabric dyes but the weather wasn't cooperating.  I prefer to work outside with dyes but it was rainy so that didn't work.  Instead, I got out some small wool samples that were rather boring beige and grey.  I also got out my Inktense blocks and some acrylic inks.  No more boring!  The colours took to the fabric really well.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
