Slow Stitching Sunday

I added some beads this week.  I am leaning towards calling this finished.  There's a lot going on but I love it.  It would be easy to keep working on it but sometimes I just have to say stop.  This is going to be the cover of a box.  The box is going to hold a set of collage cards that I made.  I finished the last card this week.  It seems appropriate to finish the cover at the same time.

The collage cards were fun to create as well.  Honestly, all my artwork is fun because why do it if it is not fun?  I plan to use the collage cards as writing prompts.  There are only images on the cards and they can be interpreted in numerous ways so there is a lot of potential.

  1. You must have a large stash of threads and beads as well as other assorted items for your pieces! Nice to have a decorated box to keep your cards.

  3. You are so right - why do it if it's not fun?! Your stitchery is happy and colorful - my favorite kind!

  4. So beautiful! I think each time I would open the box on which your gorgeous piece is covered to pull out a card, I would get distracted and gaze upon all the intricate details again. =)
