I Like

LeeAnna has asked

what is your favorite spring flower and do you try to grow them in your house or yard?

Well, I love all the spring flowers!  Hyacinths have such a powerful scent.  I love to have a pot of them in the house.  The scent fills the room.  I have tiny grape Hyacinths growing in my front yard.  They started in the garden but spread to the lawn and I don't mind that a bit.

I have seen snowdrops and crocus blooming in the neighbourhood.  They are usually the first to bloom and are such a welcome sight.  Then there is the Wysteria that a few have growing around here.  I tried growing it when we first moved into this house.  It didn't take.  Too bad because I do love the way it hangs.  So pretty.

It is spring break for the school children this week.  I am spending the day with my granddaughter today.  I like it!  We have such enjoyable days together.  We will bake and do arts and crafts.  She also loves for me to read books to her.  I love doing that as she snuggles right into me to listen.  All good!
