Slow Stitching Sunday


 I have started playing with the seams on this scroll.  The seams are short and there are not a lot of them.  I expect that it won't take a long time to finish.  These scrolls are such an enjoyable project.  I have a basket that is brimming with them.  

I ponder what I will do with these scrolls.  Do I have to do anything with them?  Can it be enough just to make them?

    Pretty colors in your scroll! That is often the question - what will we do with these things we create? I say - enjoy the process!

    You should do with these pretty scrolls what makes you happy. Perhaps just unrolling them and looking at them once in a while is all that is necessary.

    How can you showcase these scrolls? Flat on a long table, each end of the scroll rolled up on a 'bobbin? Wound around a pillar?

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
