I Like

as a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?   it may be more than one thing as you got older how did it change? Did you bring any aspect of that into your career?

Mostly I just wanted to be older/grown up.  I am the last of four siblings and they are all five or more years older than myself.  They always got to do things that I wasn't allowed to do.  I mostly felt left out.  I hope that doesn't sound like whining.  I love my family.  I am grateful for them.  

I Like being home from holidays.  I love my home and my life and don't really need a vacation from it.  I like to travel and see new things but I would be fine if we couldn't.

I like going to art museums.  Pictured above is one of my favourites that we saw at the Guggenheim.  I don't generally take photos of art but I wanted to show this one to my granddaughter.  We enjoy discussing art together.  This one is done by Frantisek Kupka and titled The Colored One.  I am interested to hear what she sees in it.

I like that it got up to 10 degrees Celsius yesterday and the snow is melting.  I am never sad to see the winter end!
