I went for a lovely nature hike with my friend Mary Lynn yesterday.  It was such a pleasant walk with a good friend.  Mary Lynn is a kind and generous woman.  She's one of those women that you instantly like.    Mary Lynn is an amazing photographer.  When I grow I want to be talented just like her!
I got some really nice shots while we were out yesterday.  The two leaves above are a couple of my favorites.  You can check out my Flickr page to see a few more.

    Those leaves look great. If we painted some like that in our journals people would think we faked 'em.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
