time book with a steampunk slant

I bought some cool watch parts on ebay a while back.  I finally found the right place to use them.  I just love the tiny gears under the watch crystal.  I don't know if this is really all that steampunk but  whatever.

    I don't know if it's steampunk either, but it sure is cool. I love those little gears and the fact you put them under a watch crystal. Clever!

    Steampunk??? That's a new word for me, Angela...but after a little research on Wikipedia, I kind of get it! Maybe 'clockpunk' is a more appropriate description!??

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
