great finds!

I seem to be blessed with the ability to find great deals!  I love it.  I found this massive amount of silk cocoons at a thrift store.  Can you believe it only cost me three dollars!  I am going to have to do some research to find ways to use these cocoons!  If you have any great ideas please feel free to let me know.

    Yes, sister you are blessed. They retail at about 20/$3.50 in their undyed form so you really got a deal. I will blog about how I have used them so check my blog out in the next few days.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
