string paper



This is the coolest stuff!  I can't wait to play with it.  I think I will try stitching with some of this string paper.

It was simple to make.  You wrap string, fibre, thread etc. around a picture frame without the glass.  You then dip your frame into the pulp.  The pulp sticks to the strings.  When it is dry you cut it off of the frame.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
