crinkled paper and other oddities to stitch upon

I ordered something on line and when it arrived it had this cool paper stuffed in the package.  I decided to crinkle it and wrinkle it.  The more I did the more cloth like it became.  I backed it with a light fusible interfacing.  I plan to stitch it and embellish it with beads.  I hope it is sturdy enough.

    Looks like crepe. It sounds very interesting. What will you create with it once it's stitched and beaded?

    I think I will put this in a book with the other bead journal projects. At least this is the idea at the moment :)

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
