macro photography of flowers

I apologize for neglecting my blog.  I honestly don't know where the time goes sometimes!  I guess we all feel that way. 
I went to the Royal Botanical Gardens in Burlington this past week.  It has been so dry so the gardens weren't at their prime but I still got some good shots.

    You'll see flowers on my blog too. My husband has the macro lens, I have just a little point and shoot, but it does pretty well.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
