paper snow storm

I love to cut paper snowflakes or kirigami.  I have a stack of these paper pretties.  I decided to copy Katie at http://colormekatie.blogspot.com/ and create a snow storm in my dining room.  I can handle this kind of snow storm any time!

    Those are wonderful designs! I can see the shapes used as stencils for painting, transferred onto fabrics and sewn into snowflake mini-quilts, paper patterns on cards......what fun!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
