Coloricious youtube tutorials

I learned a couple of new things today.  I watched this tutorial about fabric slashing and was inspired.  This is a really cool technique with a lot of potential.  Watch and enjoy!
I also learned how to put a youtube video onto my blog!  So cool!  Coloricious has a lot of good videos!

    Interesting. At first I thought I had done this before, but then when I watched I realized it was not this technique. You gotta love the British. Bash the fabric against the wall..I can do THAT!!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
