TAST couching


The top picture is the lovely new knitting fibre I bought this weekend and some hologram thread.  My favorite colors!  Usually I would use a plain thread so that the couching stitch is not noticeable.  But why not use some glitz.  This piece definitely needed glitz!  The background is a needle felted piece I started a while ago.  It definitely needs more stitching and probably some beads.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
