Take a stitch Tuesday barred chain stitch

Here is my sample such as it is.  I have not done the barred chain stitch before this.  I can't say that I am in love with.  Maybe, if I practice it some more it will grow on me.

    I agree I have tried practising this, and am finding it an "untidy" stitch

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
