TAST Whipped Wheel

Sharon B at http://www.pintangle.com/ is doing the Whipped Wheel stitch for Take a Stitch Tuesday.  I have never done this stitch before this.  I have to say that I LOVE it and will do more of it for sure!  The first stitch is on the right in the above photo.  I definitely did not pull the thread tight enough around each spoke.  Lesson learned.  The second one on the left I did better.  I tend to be a laid back kind of gal so that shows up in my stitching.  giggles

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
