Take a stitch Tuesday

The Breton stitch is new to me.  Since it is based on the herringbone stitch, which is not new to me it was easy to learn.  I used ribbon floss to create the stitch.  Its okay, but a bit tough to keep the stitches looking neat.  It is slippery stuff!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
