Work in progress Wednesday

Something a little different.  I have been inspired by a Scrumble a week blog http://prudencemapstone.blogspot.ca/.   I adore her creations!  However I don't really knit so I started experimenting with different textured yarns and embroidery.  My Mom is a knitter so I used her knitting as a base for my stitching.  I am having fun with this experimentation.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
