work in progress Wednesday

One week into August and this is all I have managed to get done on my block.  It isn't a great start but I have some ideas as to how to make it better.  I certainly hope to have it finished by the end of the month.  I just need to concentrate!  I am linking with

    Slow progress is better than no progress. I love how the doily and the heart kind of 'kiss' each other. Very romantic!

    So hard to get anything done during the summer months when there's so much to do outside. What you've done so far looks very nice.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
