Take a stitch Tuesday

I tried my hand at adding a bead to the Twisted Satin stitch.  I have to say that I like it a lot. It makes feel that the bead is very snug and secure.  I hate when beads pop off so this is a good way to make sure that doesn't happen.  Thanks to Sharon B at

    I often have problems with beads not laying flat against the surface so this was interesting information. I have not had time to do either stitch yet, but hope mine will be as nice as yours.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
