Take a stitch Tuesday Plaited Feather Stitch

Here is my attempt at the Plaited Feather Stitch.  I rather like it.  I think using contrasting threads works really well for this stitch.  It works so well for a crazy quilt seam treatment.  I definitely use it again.

    I did my Crossed version today. It was great fun but I think the Plaited one is even better. Yours looks good!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
