Take a stitch Tuesday

Thanks to Sharon at http://pintangle.com/ for the instructions for the the Shell Chain stitch, bottom picture and the Beaded Link Chain stitch, top picture.  The close up pictures aren't all that clear, sorry.  I don't want to show more of the pieces as they are projects that are in the works and no where close to finished.  These stitches have a lot of potential and I look forward to using them now that I have learned them!

    These are great stitches and I am sure the whole piece will be wonderful thanks to them. It is fantastic to see how much they change with the addition of a bead, don't you think?

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
