Using the scraps

I could not bare to throw away the bits and pieces of fabric I cut off of my fairy skirt.  I love the colors and the sheer fabrics.  I also couldn't stand the thought of a baggy of fabric scraps sitting around collecting dust.  I should say yet another baggy of scraps!  So I got out some fusbile fleece and adhered all the fabric to it.  Now I have an interesting piece to stitch into.  That may sit around collecting dust for a while but at least if someone came across it, it would like something.

    A great way to use up small scraps. I actually think it is very attractive as it is!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
