I am still doing some crocheting

I have been working on away on this freeform crochet scarf/shawl.  It keeps growing.  I am having a lot of making it and exploring different stitches.  I always like learning new things.  I can imagine that it is going to keep me warm and snuggly next winter.  Not that I am anxious for that!

    It is such an interesting structure. Won't it be too warm to work with wool soon?
    Last summer I made a pair of wrist warmers in cashmere and wool embroidery, and at times I felt the material too warm to handle.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
